She was predeceased by: her son Marvin D. Baker; and her brothers, Victor Slaughter and Arthur Slaughter. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Baker; her daughters, Evelyn Baker Yarbrough and Tonua Baker; and her sister Phyllis Tolston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Beck Funeral Home- Louisville (226 North St, Louisville, MS 39339). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Moriah M. B. Church (5 S Martin Luther King Dr, Louisville, MS 39339).
