He is survived by: his children, David Overton of Davenport, IA and Brittany Dotson of Louisville, MS; and his siblings, Emmett Vaughn of East Moline, IL., Carolyn Ransom of Covington, GA., Seretha Hopkins of Covington, GA., Effie Bragg, Virginia Jarrett (Edward) of Moline, IL. and Althea Redd. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
