He is survived by: his wife Frances Culpepper Garretson of Louisville; his son Charles T. "Tim" Garretson (Tammy) of Louisville; his grandchildren, Krista Fulcher (Shawn), Mark Garretson (Jenae), Brandon Garretson (Alaya), John Mark Dickerson (Kristen) and Linsey Anderson (John); and his great grandchildren, Kayden Fussell, Cash Fulcher, Emma Fulcher, Cade Garretson, Kenzie Garretson, Colt Garretson, Bailey Garretson, Maddie Edwards, Gracie Edwards, Aiden Reed, John Allen Collier and Jase Anderson.
