He is survived by: his children, David Phillip Watson, Jr. of Houston, Texas and Laura Watson Kujawa; his son-in-law Kevin Kujawa of Chicago, Illinois; his siblings-in-law, Lisa Watson Wilson of Louisville and Ron Collins of New Orleans, Louisiana.; his grandchildren, River Holland Kujawa and Ruby Inez Kujawa; and his nieces, Katie Watson Butts (Will), Maggie Watson Fortin (Aaron) and Maddie Rose Collins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of David may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital online at stjude.org.
