He was predeceased by: his father C. V. Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Linda Konrick Palmer; his children, Starlett Pettie of Ackerman and Joshua David Palmer of Louisville; his mother Carolyn Miller Palmer of Louisville; his siblings, Patricia Kemp of Louisville and Clyde Palmer of Lousville; and his grandchildren, Ian Joseph Pettie and Christian David Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
