She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Roy and Ada Elizabeth Monty Hamilton; and her son Roy Wayne Palmer. She is survived by: her husband Joe W. Palmer, Sr. of Louisville; her sons, Joe W. Palmer, Jr. (Dana) of Mobile, Jerry P. Palmer (Sue) of Pisgah and Johnny L. Palmer (Allison) of Philadelphia, Mississippi; her stepdaughter Rita Herman of Louisville; her sisters, Maria Ann Underwood of Louisville and Bea Price (George) of Riverside, MI; her grandchildren, Jason Palmer of Nashville, Arin Palmer of Mobile and Posey Leigh Palmer of Philadelphia, Mississippi; her stepgrandchildren, Dustin Herman, Megan Herman and Melanie Waldrop; and her great grandchildren, Hayden Patrick and Katelyn Noel.
