She was predeceased by: her husband Wallace Hindman; her parents, Claude Arthur and Peonecy White Cheek; and her sisters, Katie Clark and JeNell Doler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Sherer (Pratt) of Jasper, Leah Boydstun (Tommy) of Louisville and Cynthia Reynolds (Bruce) of Starkville, MS; her brother Dr. Ken Cheek (Mary) of Northport, AL; and her grandchildren, Laura Sherer, Sara, Marshall Boydstun (Katie), Anna Grace Boydstun, Brooklyn Reynolds, Rankin Reynolds and Rives Reynolds. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
