He was predeceased by: his parents, William Alvin and Ollie Scott Dempsey; his daughter Melissa Dempsey; and his siblings, Lena Mae Horton, Lucille Alexander, Janie Goodin, Bernice Alexander, Earline McCauley, Wesley, Curtis and William Dempsey.
He is survived by: his pet Gibson; his wife Nancy Dempsey of McCool; his stepdaughters, Tammy Maycock (David) of Louisville and Tanya Taylor (Beau) of Steens, Mississippi; and his grandchildren, Matthew Maycock (Noell), Russ Taylor, Taylor Maycock, Seth Smith, Logan Vanderveen and Laken Keller (Justin). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Brice may be given to Nowell-Massey Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
