She was predeceased by: her parents, May Lou and Grover Garner; her daughter Cynthia Walters Clark; and her siblings, Janie Garner Middleton, Dale Garner and Billy Garner.

She is survived by: her husband B. O. "Buck" Walters; her children, Lynda Reed of Louisville, Debbie Holdiness (Kent) of Louisville and Richard Walters (Leslie) of Louisville; her grandchildren, Tracy Reed, Scott Reed, Russ Clark, Walt Clark (Whitney), Kevin Holdiness, Samantha Covington (Chris), Corbin Walters (Nicole), Chapin Walters, Hunter Roberts, Ridge Roberts, Dakota Roberts, Sawyer Roberts and Ramsey Roberts; and her great grandchildren, Brantlie Sheets, Blake Sheets, Isaiah Conner, Noah Reed, Nikki Reed, Silas Covington and Knox Clark.
