She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Watson and Era Jones Watson; and her sisters, Mary Alice West and Bobbie Pearson. She is survived by: her husband Walter L. Allen, Sr. of Louisville; her sons, Walter Allen, Jr. (Lynn) of Louisville and David Allen (Debbie) of Florence, MS; her grandchildren, Jennifer Allen, Jonathan Allen (Wynne), Joshua Allen (Kristen) and Joseph Allen; her great grandchildren, Cormac, Vera, Arthur and Amelia; and her sister Linda Eaves Walker of Starkville, MS..
