With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christine Steward Lee of Louise, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2024 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Christine Steward Lee to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Steward Sr. and Lulla Belle Steward; her brothers, Eugene Steward Jr. and George Steward; and her children, Dirran Jerome Lee, Vincent Keith Lewis and Elke Annjanette Lee.

She is survived by: her husband Eddie Charles Lee; her children, Sonji Felicia Lee-Rambert (William) of Boston, Massachusetts and Eldridge Leonard Lee; her sister-in-law Eddie Jean Rayford of Arkansas; and her cousin Robert (Arleana Reed). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church.

“Dear Eddie Lee and family, I like to extend my condolence. It is with deepest sympathy to hear about Chris's passing, Eddie. Every, once in awhile when Greg and I came to Indy; we would try to get in touch with you all; however, we could'nt. We would receive a Christmas card. from you all at times. It was such a delight.
