He was predeceased by: his parents, John Marshall Green and Ebbie Green Griffin; his siblings, W. B. Green and Shelley Coats; and his grandparents, William and Susan Green.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Green; his sister Linda Windham; his children, Mike Green (Kathy), Steve Green (Deborah), Karen Crosslin (Tommy), Marsha Lay (Keith), Beverly Alexander (Joe) and Shelley Jordan (Barry); and his grandchildren, Shane Hand (Jessica), Bryan Hand, Stephen Hand, Sharee Hayes, Ashley Dale (Connely), Thomas Crosslin (Ursula), Adam Crosslin (Sandra), Allison Anderson (Brad), Jessica Lohmeier (Jeffrey), Laura Johnson (Seth), Ellen Lay, Lukas Tubb (Leigh Ann), Katye Hill (Jeremy), Joe Frank Alexander (Holly), Elliott Alexander (Bayley), Jill Jordan (Adam), Meredith Potter and Molly Malone (Austin). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
