He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Gaines Sr. and Mittie Calloway; his wife Mary Etta Jones; his daughter Bonita Wilson; and his siblings, Melvin Gaines, John Gaines, Johnnie Gaines, George Gaines, Hattie Tucker and Sue Gaines Smith. He was also cherished by four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren as well as other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 198 S C Rd 105, Louin, MS 39338. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
