He was predeceased by: his former wife Barbara Stokes Young; his parents, Ralph Young and Bessie Archie Young; and his brother Bobby Joe Young. He is survived by: his wife Jean Davis McVea; his sons, David Young and Robert Young; his granddaughters, Jennifer Young and Kayla Saterfiel (Tony); his brother Haskel Young; and his great grandchildren, Levi Saterfiel, Kaleb Saterfiel and Brooklynn Saterfiel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
