As Gertrude departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gertrude may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gertrude leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Hardy Sr. and Lillie Mae Gaddy. She is survived by: her children, Larry Gray, Charles Hardy, Sandra P. Hardy and Debbie Lott; and her siblings, Curtis Lee Hardy, Dorothy R. Houston and Teresa Brent. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren as well as other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jerusalem Louin M. B. Church (1680 Co Rd 16, Louin, MS 39338). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
