She was predeceased by: her brother John E. Smith. She is survived by: her husband Walt Roemen; her stepsons, Fred Roemen (Jennifer), Jim Roemen (Robin) and Kenny Roemen (Lisa); and her brother Claude Smith. She is also survived by 7 step-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren.
