He was predeceased by: his parents, Nora Neil Barrett French and Thomas H. Barrett; and his stepfather Arthur French. He is survived by: his wife Amy L. Barrett; his daughter Tarah Barrett; his sister Judy Barrett Conerly; his nephew Derik Conerly; his niece Cecily Conerly Midkif; and his caregivers, Melanie, Amanda and Corey.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Vancleave #2 Cemetery (4901 Jim Ramsay Rd, Vancleave, MS 39565).
