He was predeceased by: his mother Doris Watts Allen. He is survived by: his father Robert M. Allen; his son Brandon; his wife Kathy; his son Joey (Susan); his granddaughters, Marissa Allen and Scarlett Bellot; and his siblings, Connie Young, Ricky Allen (Karen), Bobby Allen (Brenda), Barbara Jean Necaise and Linda Necaise. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations be made to First Baptist Church of Long Beach.
