With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Spiers Hollimon in Long Beach, Mississippi, born in McNeill, Mississippi, who passed away on July 9, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh Dixon Hollimon; her son Ronnie Hollimon; her grandson Rhys Harrell; her parents, Robert Spiers, Sr. and Blanche Odell Spiers; and her brothers, Robert Spiers, Jr., Jack Spiers and Max Spiers.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Hollimon (Pam), Donnie Hollimon, Connie Madere and Penny Harrell (Barry); her grandchildren, Emily Hollimon Shepherd, Zac Hollimon (Echo), Casey Hollimon Bowles (Logan), Jake Hollimon (Tieal), Neal Hollimon, Ryan Harrell (Cassie) and Katie Harrell; her sister Peggy Spiers Garriga (Mitch); her sister-in-law Earline "Teenie" Spiers; and her daughter-in-law Debby Hollimon. She is also survived by her 15 great grandchildren, her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
