He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Lee Darden Sr. and Phyllis Rayburn Darden; his daughter Cheryl Elaine Darden; and his sister Sandra Darden. He is survived by: his wife Rita Lynn Darden; his children, Lynn Neary (Peter), Deborah Walmsley (Paul), Randy Darden (Billie) and Jeff Brown (Roxanne); his siblings, Jean Jenkins (Len), Carolyn Darden, Angela Darden, Mike, Paul Darden (Ann) and Gary Darden (Connie); and his grandchildren, Kevin (Christi), Kyle Castelin, Brittany, Rachel Darden, Derek (Samantha), Travis and Justin Walmsley. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children in memory of Richard.
