She was predeceased by: her parents, Dora H. Taylor and James W. Taylor, Sr.; her son Juan Taylor; her brother James W. Taylor, Jr.; her husband Wesley Dickerson, Sr.; and her sisters, Juanita Taylor, Long Beach and Judy Daniels, Sr. (Wendell).

She is survived by: her brothers, Avery Taylor, Sr. (Sherial), Joseph Taylor and Ralph Taylor-Gulfport; her niece Ashley Taylor; her nephew Jaden Taylor A. K. A; and her stepsons, Marreo Thomas and Wilbur Dickerson. She is also survived by two grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
