It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Carl Skogen of Long Beach, Mississippi, born in Isle, Minnesota, who passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Selmer Skogen and Elizabeth Skogen; and his brothers, Clyde Skogen, Lyle Skogen, Larry Skogen and Robert Skogen.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia Skogen; his children, Joel Skogen (Deirdre), Dawn Huffman (Chris) and Renee Marcellus (Pat); his sisters, Sally Miller (Tim), Dorothy Skogen, Phyllis Skogen and Bonnie Skogen; his grandchildren, Erik Skogen (Laura Munoz), Maddie Ownby, Christopher Huffman (Katie Rae Airhart), Aaron Huffman (Catherine), Neal Marcellus (Natasha), Amanda Tarver (Cole), Noah Marcellus and Crystal James (Harry); and his great grandchildren, Hanna, Casey, Taylor, Selah, Maddox, Zara, Crosby, Kayden, Elijah, Thomas and Barrett.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made to the ALS Foundation.
