In the vast expanse of eternity, Nelle shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Nelle farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph W. Powell and Edna Rogers Powell; her husband George Trenton Murphy, Sr.; her children, George Trenton Murphy, Jr. and Rose Lynn Murphy Holland; her granddaughter Jessica Ruth Kupfer; and her son-in-law Richard S. Waller.
She is survived by: her daughters, Edna Waller and Jane McCurdy (John). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and spouses, twelve great- grandchildren and spouses and seven great-great-grandchildren as well as many nephews and nieces.
With her father a Methodist minister, Nelle's contributions to the church began early in her life.
