He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Moran and Helen Moran (Niolet); and the mother of his children Barbara Moran (Latimer). He is survived by: his wife Henrietta Moran (Wescovich); his daughters, Darlene Ketchum (Richard) and Tammy Wescovich (Joey); his stepdaughters, Lori Lassabe and Jill Thibodaux (Tony); his brothers, Billy Moran (Phyllis), Don Moran (Joyce) and Alan Moran (Kathy); his grandchildren, Jonathan Frisby (Hannah), Stephanie Kraemer (Tyler), Jordan Wescovich and Lindsey Wescovich; his stepgrandchildren, Kyra Lassabe, Ben Coleman and Grace Coleman; and his great grandchildren, Charles, Cameron, Moira and Samuel.
