He was predeceased by: his wife Judy S. Hertz; and his parents, Warren Hertz and Leotha Hertz. He is survived by: his children, Belinda Jane Clements (John), John Hertz, Jr. (Deidra), Lee D. Hertz (Betsy), Michael Hertz and Carly Hertz Parker (Ben); his brother Warren R. Hertz (Peggy); and his grandchildren, Morgan Hertz, Nicholas Hertz, Kennedy Hertz, Madison Clements, Larkin Parker, Finn Parker and Graham Parker.
