We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2024, at the age of 84, Joerettsie Mae Stewart of Long Beach, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Willard Cuevas and Lillie Mae Hoda Cuevas; her husband Calvin "Dean" Stewart; and her siblings, Jesse Willard Cuevas and Patsy Verdin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wanda Mauffray (Myrlin) and Dena Borzik (Matthew); her sister Karleen Lee (Harlie); her siblings-in-law, Black Verdin, Jimmy Stewart (Judy), Billy Winters and Rose Cuevas; her grandchildren, Jason, Jonathan (Amanda), Jeremy (Laura), Elizabeth (Brandy), Josh and McKenzie; her great grandchildren, Angela, Wyatt, Reagan, Jarette, Ryleigh, Sophia, Leah and Hudson; and her great great grandchild Amelia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Riemann Family Funeral Home - Long Beach (19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach, MS 39560). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Riemann Family Funeral Home (19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach, MS 39560). A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
