With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Garrol d Owen in Long Beach, Mississippi, born in Lumberton, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 14, 2024 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Owen (Jim) and Versie Tabb; his brothers, Ronnie, Steve and Roger Owen; and his grandson Caleb Owen.
He is survived by: his wife Leslie Owen; his children, Sherry Winkler (Brian), Michele Holliman (Russell) and James Gary Owen (Jennifer); his siblings, Mike Owen, Susan Patterson, Marcia Lumpkin and Laura Reed; and his grandchildren, Cortnie Deschamp, T. J. Linthurst, Derick McGill, Katelyn McGill, Lauren Winkler and Kailey Owen. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Riemann Family Funeral Home (19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach, MS 39560).
