He was predeceased by: his wife Ella; his parents, James Lock and Ruth Lock; and his siblings, Leonard Lock, Richard Lock and Alice Sanders.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Lock (Jennifer) and Ruth Mitchell (Phillip); and his grandchildren, Sarah Lock and Joey Lock. He is also survived by several nieces, nephew and a vast number of friends.
