It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Scott of Long Beach, Mississippi, who passed away on April 23, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Aubrey Scott, Jr.; her parents, William Marshall Head and Eran Bond Head; and her siblings, Thomas Ezra Head, Ervin Head, Jewis Boone and Vertie Mae Prestwood.
She is survived by: her children, Richard William Scott, Sr. (Mary), Patrick "Pat" Aubrey Scott (Donna) and Brenda Lou Necaise (Dean); her grandchildren, Jason Rhodes, Richard W. Scott, Jr. and Rebecca Joyce Scott; her stepgrandchildren, Ryan Necaise and Jessica Necaise; and her great grandchildren, Richard W. Scott, III and Emily Nicole Scott. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to a favorite charity.
