He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Burrus and Ollie Cospelich; his brother Larry Cospelich; his siblings-in-law, Danny H. Ray and Ann Ray; and his parents-in-law, Dan and Rita Ray.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Ray Burrus; his siblings, Sargent Burrus (Debbie), Doug Burrus (Jennie), Fred Dougherty, John Dougherty (Rachael) and Terileigh Grimes (Glenn); his siblings-in-law, DeeDee McCaffrey (Tim) and Pat Ray (Suzanne); and his goddaughters, Haylee Brewer and Rylee McCaffrey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
