He was predeceased by: his daughter Sandra K. Morgan; his grandson Jacob Morgan; and his parents, Norvell Blackwell and Rhea Blackwell. He is survived by: his wife Connie Blackwell; his children, Reba Swartz (Charles), Jerry Blackwell (Ruby), Dennis Blackwell (Monica) and Barbara Blackwell; his siblings, Sam Blackwell (Penny) and Virginia Porter; and his sister-in-law Janice Hicks. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
