He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Allen Wood, Sr. and Louise Stokes Wood. He is survived by: his wife Judy Melton Wood; his brother Robert Wood; his sons, Steve Wood (Lisa) and Richie Wood (Stephanie); and his stepchildren, John Couey (Dudley) and Ali Browne (Jason). He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
