He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sherlyn Boyd of Duffee; his children, Monica Chaney of Duffee and Kyle Boyd (Jessica) of Duffee; his grandchildren, Braxton Boyd, Stella, Olivia Chaney and Rivers Chaney; his mother Barbara "Tootsie"; and his brothers, Dan E. Boyd and Eddie Boyd (Tammy). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
