She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Warren and Ella Warren; her husband Dennis Lee Chesney; her grandson Mark Loper; and her stepmother Annie Warren.
She is survived by: her children, Lavell Chesney (Sheila) and Genell Loper (Odell); and her siblings, Varnell Warren (Barbara), Louise Reynolds and Lillian Boatner. She is also survived by three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and nine great great-grandchildren.
