It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Rigdon Covington of Little Rock, Mississippi, who passed away on March 27, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Earl "Shorty" Covington; her parents, Virgil Rigdon and Madie Rigdon; and her siblings, Earl Rigdon, Evelyn "Tootsie" Miller and Bonnie Mabry.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Covington (Ben) and Stanley Covington (Valerie); her granddaughter Belinda Johnson (Mike); her brother Ray Rigdon; and her grandchildren, Brandi Covington Hansford (Tyler), Phillip Johnson (Jailine) and Cole Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Antioch Baptist Church youth fund.
