She was predeceased by: her parents, James Owen Hopkins and Naomi Evans Hopkins; her stepmother Dollie Dimple Hopkins; her brother James Lowell Hopkins; and her stepbrother Tony Lynn Hopkins.

She is survived by: her son James "Butch" Guthrie (Chris); and her grandchildren, Heather Payne (Josh), Kelsie Guthrie and Joshua Guthrie (Sarah). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
