She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrell Clifton Blalock and Connie Cordelia Cole Blalock; and her brothers, James Blalock and Jerry Blalock. She is survived by: her husband William Monroe "Bo" Knight; her sons, Randal Knight (Melanie) and Russell Knight (Michelle); her grandchildren, Kara Knight Usry (Roy), Ashlyn Knight Adams (Zac), Weston Knight, Derrick Knight and Brennan Knight; her great grandchildren, Isaiah Usry and Finley Adams; and her sister Nadine Blalock Duck. She is also survived by extended family and friends.

She was at home surrounded by her immediate family after a lengthy and complex battle with Alzheimer's disease.
