She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewell Lee Whittington and Evelyn Marie Lilly Whittington; her husband Jerry B. Laird; her daughters, Linda Kay Laird, Lynn Gay Laird and Marcia Lee Laird; and her brother Amos Louis Whittington. She is also survived by one foster daughter, two foster sons, and numerous relatives.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Home (153 S Broad St, Liberty, MS 39645). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
