She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edward Schmidt Jr. and Alice Rita Gebbs Schmidt; and her husband Delton Doucet. She is survived by: her children, Lauren Hassabou (Ahmed) and Ricky Theodore Natal Jr. (Shannon); her grandchildren, Allyson Natal and Nicholas Natal; and her brothers, John Edward Schmidt and Kirby William Schmidt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
