She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Herman Hays Sr. and Donnis Wilkinson Hays; her husband Roger Bass; and her siblings, Herman Hays, Grace Cockerham, Suzanne Cockerham, James Hays, Douglas Hays and Marion Hays.
She is survived by: her children, Stacy Bass and Stephen Bass; her grandchildren, Madeline Bass and Ethan L. Bass; and her sisters, Mary Lou Griffin, Sarah Smith and Carolyn Kinabrew.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Liberty Baptist Church Family Life Center Renovation Fund.
