He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Cleveland Blalock and Nora Lee Plemmons Blalock; and his siblings, Dorothy Blalock Hadley, Melvin Blalock, Carl Blalock and Lee Blalock.
He is survived by: his wife Genevieve Coleman Blalock of Liberty, Mississippi; his children, Wayne Blalock (Patricia) and Tabatha Tolbert (David); his siblings, Merrill Blalock, Bert Blalock, Wilma Aucoin (Ted) and Debra Moritz (Ken); and his sister-in-law Blondell Blalock. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great grandchild.
He was an example of integrity and charity and served others quietly and without the expectation of receiving.
