With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alney Cook of Liberty, Mississippi, born in McComb, Mississippi, who passed away on December 14, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Lee Cook and Betty Jean Anderson Cook; his stepmother Clara Jane Welch Cook; his stepsiblings, Darrell Cook and Dianne Harrell; his uncle James; and his aunt Virgina Cook.
He is survived by: his brother Tommy; his sister-in-law Patrice Cook; his stepsister Debbie Jane Westbrook; his grandchildren, Mary Ella Cook, Brody Cook, Tyler Johnston, Sadie Johnston, Charlee Johnston and Lucas Cook; his nieces, Heather Smith (Chris) and Bridget Burris (Gary); his nephew John Paul Cook (Jessica); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Anderson, Rex, Bayleigh, Joey, Gunner, Annabelle, Tipper and Parker Kate; and also, Chris Cook (Bambi), Sumer Johnston (Ronald) and Jordan Cook (Racheal). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
