He was predeceased by: his wife Louise; his parents, John Thomas and Ruby Loper Blackburn; and his siblings, Bill Merchant and Sarah Blackburn Wright.
He is survived by: his brothers, Jerry Blackburn (Joann) of Thornton and James Blackburn (Cindy) of Tupelo. He is also survived by Four Grandchildren, one great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.
