It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Gene Woods (Leland, Mississippi), who passed away on December 18, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Charlotte Ann Wright, Marvin Stein Woods and Victor Wayne Woods. He is survived by: his parents, Victor Lee Woods and Alberta Woods; his children, James Lee Woods of Greenville, Corondolet Box of Alabama and Angela Renee Woods of Leland; and his sister Loyce Long of Greenville.
