He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita Whisler (Ruta) and Jay Byron Whisler; his sister Geri Springer; and his nephew Kevin Dyer. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his sisters, Nancy Jo Hiler and Regina Murray; his son Michael Allen Whisler of El Reno; his stepson Stevie Atkins; and his grandsons, Kristopher Brock Whisler, Charles Jay Dunson and Jesse Robert Whisler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other friends and family.
A graveside service was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Greenville Cemetery (1000 S Main St, Greenville, MS 38701).
