We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2023, at the age of 84, Julian Michael Fontana of Leland, Mississippi, born in Monroe, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Fontana and Frances Scalia Fontana; and his sister Jo Marie Fontana Kindrix. He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth Fontana (Libby); his granddaughter Elizabeth Grace Hathaway; his wife Deedra Brackeen Fontana; his children, Julice F. Curry (Rob), Donna F. Signa (Frankie), Michael Fontana (Patty), Terri F. Hamilton, Danny Fontana, Tammy F. Smith (David), Renee Fontana, Ricky Fontana (Erin) and Michaela Fontana Stone (Tim); his sisters, Frances Fontana Sampognaro and Deborah Fontana Scott; and his caregivers, Leah Brooks of Prime Care, Whitney Jones and Sara Jones. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
