She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Godfrey Smyly and Lottie Mae Clark Smyly; her brothers, Charles, Maxie and Eugene Smyly; and her niece Brenda Pugh Bariola.
She is survived by: her sons, Gerald Pugh (Sara) of Oxford, Butch Pugh (Peggy) of Cleveland and Lee Pugh of Leland. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
