Ballard Jr. of Leland, Mississippi, born in Vicksburg, Mississippi, who passed away on April 17, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred A. Ballard, Sr. and Ruby Jackson Ballard; his spouse Sammie Leah Dickerson; and his sister Faye Ballard Morlino. He is survived by: his children, Kim Jackson (Cameron), Leah Turner and Bo Ballard; his grandchildren, Ballard Jackson Mann (Josh), Ben Turner (Neichole) and Jane Aden Burton (Hays); his great grandchildren, Jack Mann, Cammie Mann, Averie Turner, Mollie Turner and Sarah Hays Burton; his pet Baby Doll; and his caregivers, Jennifer Raggs, Dorothy Carter, Michelle Briggs, Keona Zolicoffer, Shay Webb, Revia Kimball and Geremy Stevens, RN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church, Leland, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
