He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Tharp of Leland; his children, Christopher Tharp (Mary Morgan) of Cleveland, Brian Tharp (Mi Randa) of Brandon, Gage Tharp of Benton, AR, Swade Thomas (Bree) of Vicksburg and Nikie Taylor (Jeremy) of Wayside; his brother David Tharp (Lorie) of Brandon, MS.; and his grandchildren, Anslee Tharp, Tucker Tharp, Victor Gullett, Jason Tharp, Swade Thomas, Peyton Taylor and Chandler Taylor. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Boone Funeral Home (905 Main St, Greenville, MS 38701). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
