It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Thornton Burke of Leland, Mississippi, born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, who passed away on November 3, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Thornton and Nancy Thornton. She is survived by: her children, David Lee Burke of Greenville and Christy Gale Folsom of Northport, AL.. She is also survived by five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
